Foodstuffs South Island is hiring a full-time Bakery/Deli Assistant in Twizel, Canterbury, NZ to produce quality bakery and deli products while achieving freshness, range and profitability targets. The role includes preparing bakery and hot foods, packaging and presenting, accurate ticketing and pricing, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards. About the role

To produce a quality range of bakery and deli products, ensuring quality, range, freshness, consistency and profitability targets are achieved

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and handling bakery products and hot food products
• Packaging and presenting products to ensure the bakery/deli department is tidy and stocked
• Ticketing and pricing products accurately
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Maintaining our high standard of cleanliness and hygiene

Hours

Full-time (40 hours per week)
