Job Description

Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Bartender / Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis.

This dynamic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys delivering exceptional service across both bar and floor. You’ll play a key part in creating memorable guest experiences, whether crafting quality beverages or providing attentive table service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine
  • Provide attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering meals
  • Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests
  • Recommend menu items, drink pairings, and upsell to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and organised bar and service areas
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service
  • Comply with all health, hygiene, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards

Shift Details (subject to change):

  • Dual role, primarily focused on bartending, with additional shifts as a Food & Beverage Attendant.
  • Part-time position, 25 hours per week.
  • Shift times: 2:30pm – 10:30pm.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ bartending experience is essential. 
  • Previous Food & Beverage Attendant experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong product knowledge and confidence in preparing classic cocktails.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable personality.
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
