1st Shift: Further Process Plant

Dept. 142 – Batter/Breader Operator – HEAVY LIFTING

Shift Time:  7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $ 16.50 per hour

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department.  Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Operates a machine by performing the following duties; Makes sure that the machine is working properly; Adjusts product flow from the machine; Adjusts and checks equipment used for different products being run; Makes sure that the right combination of breader and spices is being used; Keeps the equipment clean; Notifies management if there is a machine malfunction and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.  The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 POUNDS. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
