You will head about 35 staff, owning the site’s day-to-day performance with regional support. This role centers on safety, environmental compliance and financial results, overseeing operations, maintenance and continuous improvement. You’ll champion health and safety, manage consents and regulatory obligations, develop people, oversee budgets and targets, and build relationships with customers, communities and regulators. A civil engineering or environmental management qualification is preferred, with proven complex-ops leadership and P&L capability. The role you’ll play.
We have an exceptional opportunity for a commercially focused and experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations at the Redvale Landfill in Dairy Flat.
Reporting to the Redvale Regional Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 35 employees, as well as multiple contractors. You will have the backing of an experienced regional leadership team and our wider corporate services teams while retaining genuine ownership of the site’s day to day performance.
This is a highly influential leadership role with responsibility for the operational, environmental and financial performance of one of WM’s critical business units.
You will provide visible leadership across the site, set clear expectations and create an environment where safety, accountability, compliance and continuous improvement are embedded in everything we do.
