Job Purpose:
The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for driving Omoda & Jaecoo sales performance at the branch by achieving budgeted sales and CSI targets, leading the sales team, and ensuring smooth showroom operations. The role oversees sales processes, customer follow-up, product knowledge development, competitor monitoring, and display standards while maintaining accurate reporting and strong team discipline. The position ensures consistent implementation of Mazda sales procedures and supports management through timely updates, forecasts, and branch administrative coordination.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Achieve or exceed the budgeted sales and CSI targets for the Omoda & Jaecoo franchise at the branch while ensuring the smooth functioning of showroom operations.
• Analysis, correction and improvement measures for achieving the sales targets of the branch.
• Defining responsibilities and sales targets for the Sales Team in the branch.
• Daily review of performance of sales staff and guiding / counselling and helping them in achieving their sales targets.
• Undertake periodic and timely performance evaluation of sales staff.
• Ensuring that proper processes and procedures are followed by the sales team with regards to complete documentation for sales registration, in-house financing, trade-in cars and test drives.
• Ensuring that sales team prospects new leads and follows-up leads for increasing the sales.
• Ensuring that sales teams build and maintains comprehensive data base of customers profile and prospects.
• Ensuring that sales team has all the relevant product knowledge for the vehicles and they attend periodic training, visits to Auto Fairs and Exhibitions to update their knowledge and skills.
• To propose activities aimed at enhancing and strengthening brand image and to suggest, obtain management approval and implement schemes for increasing sales in the locations being covered in the branch jurisdiction.
• Keeping track and appraising the management of the competitors' product / pricing / marketing and promotional activities.
• Personnel management of employees working in the branch in terms of their attendance and punctuality, discipline, welfare.
• To ensure timely resolution of employee grievances and problems by taking up the issues with concerned persons in Support Function for increasing employee satisfaction.
• All display vehicles are clearly labelled showing specifications, price and monthly payment
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and project sales figures / sales forecast.
• Branch day to day administration.
• Any relevant ad-hoc duties and/or relevant special projects may be assigned by the Management.
Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Automotive Management.
• 5–8 years of automotive sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/branch leadership role.
• Proven ability to achieve sales and CSI targets and manage showroom operations.
• Strong leadership, team management, and performance evaluation skills.
• Good understanding of sales processes, documentation, financing, trade-ins, and test drives.
• Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting and competitor analysis.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with DMS/CRM systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
