We are seeking an experienced HR business analyst who can demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. You will be a great fit, if you are a self-starter, who is passionate about your work and willing to take ownership.
Your Responsibilities
· Deliver detailed business requirement/functional requirements/use cases/user stories/wireframes/ data mappings/training materials
· Partner with key stakeholders to help shape and prioritize product roadmap
· Work with development teams to identify solutions and help build better products
· Work closely with QA and development team to ensure implementation meets requirements and usability guidelines.
· Provide SME support, product demonstrations and training to internal & external users.
Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in technology/finance/business/science or related field of study
· Demonstrable track record in the development of requirements on Human Resources (HR) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms is essential
· Direct experience of being a business analyst for a major HR and ERP implementation using the Oracle HCM platform
· Direct experience of other HR functions and platforms would be beneficial, such as data integration, benefits management, payroll and training.
· Exposure of working either for or with one or more of the “big 4” consulting firms for large IT transformation programmes would be beneficial
· Some experience of Oracle’s Finance modules although not essential, would be beneficial
· Has supported business requirements definition and product / supplier selection in competitive procurement processes i.e. Response to Proposal (RFP) process (essential)
· Must have excellent knowledge and experience of creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)
· Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), familiarity with waterfall and agile methodologies
· Advanced knowledge and experience of using business analysis tools and techniques such as requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis is essential
· Financial Services and / or regulated organisational experience
· Able to work in complex matrix organisation
· Must have some knowledge of banking, front to back trade life cycle, settlement systems and practices would be helpful
· Must be a strong team player who can share knowledge and help others succeed
· Must have a positive can do attitude
· Must be passionate about the quality of your work, strive to continuously improve and challenge the status quo
· Good client facing skills and the ability to work/communicate with business & technical stakeholders is essential
