The role

As a Business Controller at Euro Pool System (EPS), you will play an important role in our mission to promote sustainable, reusable packaging solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining reporting frameworks, analyzing trends, performing scenario analysis and providing insights to help streamline and professionalize our business operations.

You can make a real difference by engaging with the operational and commercial (functional) teams to understand their financial needs and challenges and translate this into valuable insights. Based on data analysis, you will assess and challenge budgets, forecasts and business cases prepared by the regional offices throughout Europe. You will participate in various improvement projects in collaboration with the business control team at headquarters and the business controllers in the regions. Also, the development and refinement of reports, together with the business intelligence team, will be one of your main activities.

Further:

    • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance & Control, Accountancy, Business Administration or similar study.
    • Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in a relevant financial role or related experience within an (commercial) organisation, of which at least 2 years of experience as a (business) controller or business analyst.
    • Proficiency in English and preferably Dutch, spoken and written.
    • Excellent knowledge of Excel with hands-on experience in creating dashboards using Power BI.
    • Keen interest in building an internal network and gaining a deep understanding of the business.
