Perfetti Van Melle is hiring a Business Development Manager in Dubai for a full time onsite role to drive revenue growth and keep the product portfolio competitive in trade. You will own sales strategy, set and hit targets, manage distributors and key accounts, monitor market and competitors, oversee budgeting and P&L, and collaborate with trade marketing, marketing, supply chain and finance while ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years in FMCG sales with at least 2 in a leadership role, deep UAE trade knowledge, experience in key account management with MT and TT, distributor management, and P&L exposure, plus strong leadership, communication, and Excel skills. To apply, quantify wins in revenue and market share, highlight UAE networks and multi cultural communication, showcase cross functional teamwork and negotiation, and provide concrete examples of data driven decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring the company’s product portfolio maintain a competitive position in trade.

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives, short and long term. Identify new market opportunities – channels and categories and trends in the FMCG sector to maximize sales growth.

Revenue & Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets in line with the company's overall growth objectives. Monitor and analyse sales performance and profitability, ensuring corrective actions when necessary.

Distributor & Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, and retailers ( Key Accounts ).

Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitors, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and challenges and thus overdrive market share targets.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight: End to End P&l Management to deliver and improve on yearly budget commitments.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the Trade marketing, marketing, supply chain, Finance teams to ensure product availability, Excellent trade fundamentals, promotional activities and optimal pricing.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all sales operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in FMCG sales/business development with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE trade & Key retailers
- Prior experience in Key account management along with trade development – MT & TT.
- Prior experience of distributor management (negotiable)
- P&L ownership (negotiable)
Other skills for Position:
Aggressive & strong leader who can lead by example. Ability to understand & communicate effectively is a must. High degree of familiarity in Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint , word )
