Schréder is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow Schréder's Western Australia presence from Perth, covering Roadway, Infrastructure, Urban Decorative, Sports, Transport, Solar, Smart City and related segments. You will identify, develop and secure opportunities with contractors, wholesalers, consultants, architects, engineers and stakeholders, guiding them from early engagement through handover while collaborating with design, engineering and projects teams. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in lighting or related sales, strong negotiating and pipeline management skills, with a track record in project-based sales. To apply, tailor your resume to show WA outcomes, highlight relationships across channels, demonstrate cross-functional collaboration, and prove you can own a territory with CRM discipline and familiarity with technical drawings and specs.
Schréder is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help expand our presence across the Western Australian market.
With over 50 years in the Australian market, Schréder is a recognised and respected name in lighting, known for quality products, strong technical capability and trusted customer partnerships across commercial, infrastructure, exterior, smart city, sports, roadway and project-based environments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a growing market, work across a broad product portfolio and represent an established global brand with the backing, capability and product range to deliver major commercial lighting projects.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across Western Australia.
This is not a narrow single-product sales role. You will have the opportunity to represent Schréder’s broader lighting portfolio, including Roadway, Infrastructure, Urban decorative, Sports, Transport, Solar, Smart City and project-based lighting solutions, along with linear lighting and bespoke commercial lighting capability.
You will work closely with contractors, wholesalers, consultants, architects, lighting designers, engineers, councils, project stakeholders and internal technical teams to identify opportunities, build relationships and convert projects into successful outcomes.
The role will suit someone who enjoys being in the market, building relationships, opening doors and creating traction across multiple customer channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
About You
You are a proactive and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.
You may come from commercial lighting, architectural lighting, electrical products, infrastructure, construction, wholesale, contractor-facing sales or specification-led sales. What matters most is that you understand project-based selling, can build trust with customers and are confident working across technical or solution-based products.
You will be someone who is comfortable getting out in front of customers, asking the right questions, following up consistently and working with internal teams to deliver the right solution.
