We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Refinish team in Atlantic Canada.

BASF Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions offers high-quality refinish paint brands and paint-related products to body shops from around the world. Our solutions are approved by the world’s leading automotive manufacturers for the repair of their vehicles. As a Business Development Manager based in Atlantic Canada with the ability to travel 50% of the time, you will work with automotive collision repair shops and distribution partners to grow our market share.

 

As a Business Development Manager you create chemistry by...

  • Executing the business strategy and driving sales growth in the local markets through identifying customers and market needs within your assigned market responsibility.
  • Increasing sales growth by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, closing sales and recommending new products and services (70% of the role will be focused on adding new business).
  • Managing existing relationships and developing new ones.
  • Establishing trust and value in our ever-changing industry.
  • Retaining business and driving sales growth.

 

If you...

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).  HS Diploma is acceptable with relevant work experience.
  • Are team-focused and experienced in field sales, territory management, customer relations
  • Have experience in industrial sales (beneficial), the collision industry (a plus), strong interpersonal skills, robust relationship-building and value-based selling skills
  • Are a solid professional who will value our current customer base while also being aggressive to win new BASF business

Pay Transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $83,000 - $90,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
