Persian Horizon is hiring a  Business Development Manager (Deal Sourcing)  to originate and source  high-quality business acquisition and investment opportunities .

This role is about  opening doors, building relationships, and bringing real deals into the pipeline . You are responsible for identifying business owners, intermediaries, and partners, and converting conversations into  qualified acquisition opportunities .

This is a  sourcing role, not a closing role .

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively source businesses available for sale through:
  • Direct outreach to business owners
  • Brokers, intermediaries, and advisors
  • Professional and personal networks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  • Business owners
  • Consultants and introducers
  • Industry contacts and deal sources
  • Initiate first-level conversations to assess:
  • Seller intent and readiness
  • Basic financial and commercial fit
  • Introduce qualified opportunities into the internal deal pipeline
  • Work closely with:
  • Business Scouts & Pre-Qualification teams
  • Analysts and Acquisition leadership
  • Maintain a steady, high-quality flow of new deal opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in  business development, deal sourcing, or relationship-led sales
  • Background in  business brokerage, M&A, investment, real estate, or high-ticket services  preferred
  • Strong network and confidence initiating senior-level conversations
  • Ability to open doors and build trust quickly
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on  deal quality over volume
  • Fluent English (Arabic, Persian, Russian, or other languages are a strong advantage)

  • Not a passive lead-handling job
