To strengthen our ProAudio division, we are seeking a new team member in Switzerland to join us at the earliest possible date as:
Business Development Manager / End-Customer Engagement (m/f/d) - Pro Audio Switzerland -
Your duties:
- Develop and expand business relationships with consultants, system design companies, end customers and operators in the professional audio sector across Switzerland, especially on senior management resp. decision-making level
- Identify, develop, and actively pursue business opportunities in projects such as venues, clubs, cultural institutions, corporate installations, hospitality, and broadcast
- Build and maintain direct relationships with key decision-makers and influencers (e.g. operators, event organizers, investors, technical directors)
- Position Yamaha Professional Audio solutions at an early stage of projects through consultative engagement, needs and requirement analysis and system design proposals
- Develop customer-specific solutions for turn-key projects in close collaboration with system integrators, distribution partners, and internal stakeholders
- Initiate and drive reference projects and flagship installations within the Swiss market
- Ensure close alignment and information flow with Sales, Marketing, and Application Engineering teams within Yamaha Music Europe
- Oversee and lead roll-out resp. execution of turn-key projects to ensure end customer satisfaction
- Help to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Yamaha’s customer relationship management processes
- Lead cross functional initiatives targeting to improve frequency and quality of interactions with the end customer base in Switzerland
- Take full responsibility for developing, implementing, and driving initiatives to achieve Yamaha's strategic goals in this area, as well as for forecasting governance
- Analyze market and competitor trends and derive strategic recommendations
- Represent Yamaha Professional Audio at industry events, trade fairs, and professional conferences
Your profile:
- Degree in Audio Engineering, Media Technology, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in business development, project business, or technical planning within the pro audio or AV industry
- Strong understanding of how consultants, planning offices, event planners, system integrators and service providers operate
- Established network within the Swiss market is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of audio system design, signal flow, networking technologies, and modern installation concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confident appearance at all organizational levels
- Structured, self-motivated, independent, and proactive working style with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland and Europe
