Mashreq is hiring a Business Development officer for PL Sales in the Retail Banking Group to meet monthly targets through telesales, develop and execute telesales strategies, and drive cross-sell initiatives. You will analyze leads, convert them to sales, keep systems updated, process offers, coordinate with departments to prevent delays, resolve customer issues promptly, and compile daily and monthly MIS. Ideal candidates are university graduates with 1-2 years in a similar environment, preferably with marketing experience, and strong sales, customer focus, creativity under pressure, solid presentation and teamwork, business sense, analytical skills, and adaptability. - To achieve monthly targets assigned.
- To ensure that all telesales activities are directed to meeting sales targets.
- To develop and implement telesales strategies and objectives as well as set challenging sales target and ensure that these target are achieved.
- To achieve service standards and monitor, evaluate and measure performances to achieve top productivity and efficiency from systems as well as the product campaigns.
- To drive cross sell effort.
- Analysis of leads received.
- Conversion of leads into “Sale”
- Updating all the systems as per the call with the customer.
- Processing of the request or offer given to the customer.
- Constant follow up with the concerned department if the process is delayed or not fulfilled as per the customer’s request.
- Handling of all customer issues and resolve the same at the earliest and highlight them to the TL.
- Maintaining all records of the approval, requests and reports handled.
- Compilation of daily and monthly reports and MIS for the team.
- University Graduate.
- 1-2 years experience in similar work environment.
- Preferably has a practical marketing background.
- Has strong Sales and customer focus and ability to think creatively and work under pressure.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Good team player with result driven attitude.
- Business sensitive.
- Has analytical and computer skills.
- Adaptable and versatile.
