Overview of the role
As Business Manager in this role, you are the strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Executive Director - Tech & Data. You help drive clarity and alignment across priorities, support high-quality decision-making, and improve execution on strategic initiatives. You act as a connector across leadership, strategy and delivery, bringing structure, momentum and follow-through.
This is a senior individual contributor role at the heart of Tech & Data. You will operate as a trusted partner to the Executive Director and the MT, driving alignment, decision quality and execution. The role is intentionally a staff/integrator position: you deliver impact through influence, structure and follow-through—not through line management or owning a product, portfolio or budget.

You will join the Tech & Data leadership environment and work closely with the Executive Director, the Tech & Data MT and key stakeholders across the business. You will operateat the heart of the organization, where strategy, priorities and execution come together.
Key responsibilities
Drive strategic planning and alignment across Tech & Data priorities, roadmaps and interfaces with the business.
Support executive and MT decision-making with analysis, insights, recommendations and clear narratives. Increase MT effectiveness through strong agenda setting, preparation, governance rhythms and follow-up.
Monitor progress on strategic initiatives, surface risks and dependencies, and support course correction when needed.
Lead and support change initiatives to strengthen collaboration, communication and organizational effectiveness.
Provide hands-on executive operations support (agenda management, key meeting preparation and follow-up, travel coordination when needed) to protect focus and execution quality.
This is you
You are proactive, structured and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
You bring strong judgment, high integrity and the ability to influence without authority.
You communicate clearly, can shift between strategic and practical topics, and build trust across senior stakeholders.
Several years of experience in strategy, transformation, business operations, consulting or senior program management (preferably in Tech/Data or complex environments).
Proven experience working closely with senior leadership and facilitating decision-making in leadership teams.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to turn complexity into clear priorities and actions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and a natural ability to connect people and topics.

Location and working conditions
This role is based at our Amsterdam Central Head Office. While flexible working is possible, a strong on-site presence is required to effectively engage with stakeholders and build relationships across teams.
