KiwiRail is seeking a proactive Business Support for a fixed term contract, based onsite in Auckland to support the Infrastructure Team across the lower North Island. You will coordinate calendars, meetings and reporting, assist with compliance, invoicing and onboarding of new leaders, and help streamline processes to keep the team running smoothly in a fast changing environment. The right candidate typically has 2 to 4 years of administration or operational support experience, a clean class 1 NZ driver license and willingness to travel to sites, familiarity with travel bookings and invoicing, and a working knowledge of SAP or similar systems; you should be comfortable handling sensitive information, communicating across all levels, and staying organized. This is a wide-ranging support role at the centre of KiwiRail’s Infrastructure business. You’ll provide essential coordination, administration, and operational assistance to our Infrastructure Team across the lower North Island, helping them work smoothly and focus on delivering New Zealand’s rail future.
From managing complex calendars, meetings, and reporting, to supporting compliance, financial processes, and onboarding new leaders, you’ll keep the team organised and connected. You’ll also help improve processes, share information, and ensure everything runs efficiently across a busy and fast-changing environment.
