Ensure a high level of responsive field support for revenue generating activities and provide the best value to Nabors through competitive sourcing. Will resolve vendor and operations issues and creates and issue Purchase Order for services and materials

· Purchase materials and services required to mee Supply Chain objectives and to expeditiously complete customer sales orders and repairs

· Negotiate prices, delivery and terms with suppliers and vendors

· Expedite deliveries to meet field customers business needs and schedules

· Received requisition, analyze for quantity, specifications and delivery requirements

· Develop sources, request pricing and delivery, select supplies, place order, follow up until equipment is received

· Advise management of market conditions and supplier base activity, which could affect pricing and delivery

· Contributes the Supply chain and departmental goals and objective through proactive purchasing that lead to lower TCO     and improved customer satisfaction

· Participate on strategic development and implementation projects and participate as assigned on special projects

· Reconcile problem invoices related to purchase orders

· Work with freight forwarder and logistics manager on a daily basis

· Investigates and resolves matters of significance on behalf of management

· Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with team and all levels of management, departments and employees

· Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Make decisions that properly reflect company policy

· Strong oral, written and organizations skills re required

· Able to work successfully in a team environment

· Able to drive implementation of policies, procedures and best practices

· The employee is responsible for performing duties in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and quality objectives

· The employee has the necessary authority to make decisions within their scope of work and escalate issues as needed and

collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness.

· The employee is accountable for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of their work, as well as for reporting any nonconformities or risks that may impact quality, legal compliances, safety, environment, or customer satisfaction.

· Support and participate on achieving organizational QHSE objectives

· Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Relevant Bachelors Degree with 1-3 years related work experience in the Oil and Gas

· Proficient in MS Office. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and effectively handle details

· Excellent ability to work in a team environment

· Strong supply chain background with the ability to interact with internal and external customer and suppliers

· Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written forms

· Knowledge of computer hardware configurations and operating systems

· PC skills in word processing and spreadsheets desired

· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent customer relationship and communication skills

· Must be able to understand the customer needs and specify requirement

· Flexibility to solve different types of challenges

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Self-started with the ability to handle multiples projects simultaneously

· Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal personnel as well as outside vendors and Operations personnel
