Successful candidates will be employed by Bytewize to deliver technical support services to the Department of Education through the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP).

About the Role
These are
not entry-level positions.
To be considered, candidates must have
at least 5 years of industry experience,
including:

Previous experience within the TSSP program; OR

Extensive experience in the education sector; OR
-
Equivalent senior-level corporate IT support experience.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure in schools, supporting both staff and students, and administering complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.

Administer and support school networks and server environments.
-
Provide ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments.

Collaborate with school leadership teams and deliver ICT professional development when required.
Essential Technical Skills
-
Hyper-V virtualisation administration.
-
Administration of Windows and Linux-based servers.
-
Cloud service administration (Google Workspace & Microsoft 365).
-
Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration.
-
Advanced enterprise networking (Cisco & HP switching).
-
Cisco wireless technologies (controllers, APs).
-
SOE and image deployment, with advanced troubleshooting skills.
-
Experience supporting large fleets of desktops and notebooks.

Experience with 1:1 and BYOD device planning, deployment, and management.

Strong technical documentation skills.
