Summerset in the Vines Village in Havelock North is seeking a Café Assistant for a 15-hour per week daytime role, Monday and Tuesday with one weekend day. You’ll deliver hospitality, craft great coffee, prepare cabinet foods and light meals, provide barista service, and support village events while handling cash and takings. You’ll work with Chef Manager, Café Supervisor, and village team to keep the café welcoming and consistent. Ideal applicants have hospitality or café experience, superb barista skills, a friendly customer focus, and strong multitasking and teamwork. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors.
