We’re now looking for a Café Supervisor for our Bell Block village who shares our love for people, hospitality, and quality service. 

This is a fixed-term role until mid-April 2027, working Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm.

You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the daily operations of the café and reconciling the daily takings
  • Training and mentoring a small team
  • Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standard
  • Providing outstanding barista services
  • Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions

You’ll work closely with the Chef Manager, and wider village team to deliver a café experience that’s welcoming, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable.

Qualifications

You will bring a warm and positive approach to everything you do, along with:

  • Previous experience running daily operations in a café or hospitality business
  • Experience leading a team is ideal
  • Superb barista skills
  • A LCQ certificate 
  • A warm, friendly personality with great customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and the ability to multitask
