This role is a fixed term contract on a part-time basis starting ASAP, until end of Term 4, 11th December 2026 (30 hours per week, term time only). Potential to extend, subject to requirements.
Hours: approx. 8:30am - 3pm, Monday - Friday (some flexibility for a shorter day Friday, to be discussed with the successful applicant)

Skills and Experience:
• Experience supporting younger students with learning challenges.
• Experience applying effective strategies and opportunities for learning.
• An understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and of different learning methods.
• A good level of digital competency.
• Ability to cater for a student’s varying needs, including implementation of strategies to support development of communication and learning.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
• Patience, resilience, adaptability and empathy.
You will need:
• Eligibility to work in NZ
• Able to provide 2 verbal references
• Able to pass a Police Check
