MDSearch is recruiting a Cardiologist with expertise in Nuclear Cardiology to join a well-established ambulatory cardiology practice in Midtown Toronto. 
The practice is a well-established community-based ambulatory cardiology clinic and diagnostic centre supported by a multidisciplinary team of 14 Cardiologists and Respirologists, with strong academic and hospital affiliations that ensure seamless continuity of cardiac care.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care while serving as the Quality Assurance (QA) Advisor for the accredited Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory. You will oversee quality assurance activities, monitor quality metrics, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, participate in protocol development and quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with Nuclear Medicine Technologists to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Compensation:
  • Fee-for-service
  • Annual stipend for the QA Advisor role
Qualifications:
  • Certification in Cardiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent acceptable for CPSO registration).
  • Eligibility for independent or provisional licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
  • Fellowship training and expertise in Nuclear Cardiology as demonstrated by applicable exam.
  • Experience in Nuclear Cardiology laboratory quality assurance programs and full-time commitment are preferred.
