What you'll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skills and build a rewarding career as a Complex Care Assistant, with full training and ongoing clinical support provided to help you develop across a range of complex care needs. We are seeking a friendly, approachable, and supportive individual to join our established and welcoming team, supporting a gentleman with cerebral palsy in line with a detailed person-centred care plan. The role includes delivering personal care, administering medication, assisting with household and domestic duties, and supporting community access and social activities. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, we pride ourselves on creating meaningful experiences, including organised days out and holidays, and we would love you to be part of these special moments within our positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

What you'll need

Previous experience in a care assistant role would be desirable but otherwise, the care assistant skills and attributes needed are:

• Compassion
• Resilience
• A willingness to learn
• A full valid UK driving licence

However a skill set in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application prior to interview

• PEG Feeding
• Administration Medication (via the above method)
• Moving & Handling Equipment
