This full-time Care Assistant role with Complete Care Amegreen, part of City & County Healthcare Group, is based in Shrewsbury and pays up to £13.50 per hour. What you’ll do

Personal Carer Opportunity – Supporting a Young Man with Spinal Injury

Are you a caring, positive, and motivated individual who wants to make a real difference in someone’s life?
We are looking for a dedicated carer to support a young man who sustained a spinal injury following a car accident. He is working towards rebuilding his confidence and independence, and needs someone who can offer both practical assistance and emotional encouragement.

About the Role:


You will provide support with daily activities of living, including:

  • Personal care and mobility assistance
  • Meal preparation and light domestic tasks
  • Accompanying him to appointments or social activities
  • Encouraging and supporting him to engage in hobbies and positive activities
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing and helping maintain a positive outlook

Qualifications

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient
  • Has a good sense of humour and an uplifting attitude
  • Able to motivate and empower others
  • Respectful of privacy and dignity at all times
  • Experience supporting people with spinal injuries or low mood is desirable but not essential — the right attitude matters most!
