Job Description

What you'll do

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support a young woman living at home with a genetic neurological and developmental condition and epilepsy. This is a rewarding, person-centred role that combines clinical care with meaningful daily engagement. Duties include all aspects of personal care, moving and handling, administering medication, and managing nutrition including PEG feeding, while following established care plans and supporting overall wellbeing. Full training can be provided for the right candidate, but a caring attitude, patience, and professionalism are essential.

Alongside clinical support, you will play an important part in making each day positive and enjoyable. The role includes accompanying her to a day centre three times a week for social activities, as well as regular outings such as trips to the park, zoo, cinema, and aquarium. At home, she enjoys being pampered, having her nails painted, and watching musicals and Disney films, so we are looking for someone engaging and enthusiastic who will actively support her interests and help her live a full and enjoyable life.
