Greensleeves Care is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant at Lavender Fields in Sevenoaks, part of a respected national care charity delivering 24 hour residential, dementia and nursing care. The role includes supporting residents overnight with mobility, personal care, dressing and hygiene while upholding rights to independence, privacy and dignity, and helping with night routines. Ideal applicants understand residents’ needs, respect confidentiality and have or are working towards a QCF level 2 in care; prior elder care experience is desirable. About Lavender Fields

Lavender Fields is a modern care home in the leafy area of Seal village of Sevenoaks. The home delivers award-winning residential care and dementia care in a purpose-built space designed with residents’ needs in mind.

The residents enjoy beautiful décor and first-class facilities including cinema room, physio room, hairdresser salon, activity room, spacious lounges and dining rooms. All bedrooms are ample, comfortable and beautifully furnished, and all come with an en-suite wet room.

As a Care Assistant (Nights), you will: 

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice  
• Assist with preparing residents for bed and/or assist them in the morning.  
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.  
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.  
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.  
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

• An understanding of the needs of residents 
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality 
• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable) 
• Experience of providing care (Desirable) 
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable)
