Home Instead is recruiting Care Assistants who are drivers to provide care and companionship across Gillingham, Rainham, Chatham and Rochester on weekdays with alternate weekends and guaranteed hours. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to support clients during one hour visits, with duties from companionship to light personal care. The role offers pay from £13 to £14 per hour with double pay on bank holidays, paid mileage, holidays and a generous benefits package, DBS refunded, funded NVQ and progression, pension and 24/7 support. Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

Full Training will be Provided

• Must hold a valid UK Driving License 
• Must have access to a car
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
