Two full time Caregiver roles at Summerset Whangarei Village are open, focused on delivering personal care, meals and hygiene assistance, supporting individual care plans, and helping residents enjoy activities to create a safe and engaging lifestyle. There are two roster options: four days on, two off with rotating morning and evening shifts, or four nights on, two days off. Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Whangarei Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

• Position one: Four days on, two days off - rotating roster through AM and PM shifts.

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
