Summerset is hiring a full-time on-site Caregiver for our Cambridge village, a role focused on delivering personal care and assistance that keeps residents safe, healthy and engaged. You’ll help with meals, hygiene, individual care plans, and activities to support daily living, on a permanent 4 days on, 2 days off roster totaling 60 to 80 hours per fortnight across mornings, afternoons and nights. The ideal candidate is empathetic, patient and experienced in aged care, with strong communication skills and a talent for building lasting relationships. Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Cambridge village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a permanent role, working a roster of four on, two off (Minimum 60 and maximum 80 hours per fortnight).

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
