Caregiver fixed term at Bupa Sunset Care Home in Blockhouse Bay, West Auckland offers two contracts on a 4 on 2 off rotating roster; one until February 2027 (night shift 11 pm to 7 am, about 32 hours per week) and one until January 2027 (AM or PM shifts, about 28 hours per week), plus a casual option. You will deliver person first care to 122 residents across rest home, hospital and dementia settings, assist mobility, and maintain care plan documentation. NZQA Health and Wellbeing Cert Level 2-4 preferred; minimum 1 year aged care experience; strong communication and teamwork; eligible to work in NZ. As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.
We have two Fixed Term Contracts available, working on a 4-days on, 2-days off 6-weekly rotating roster pattern (Monday - Sunday):
1) Fixed Term until February 2027: average of 32 hours per week
2) Fixed Term until January 2027: average of 28 hours per week
3) Casual role: no guaranteed hours per week, so flexibility is required to pick up shifts as they become available
