Summerset is seeking a part-time Caregiver for Memory Care at the Levin Village to provide resident directed care in a dementia setting. On a rotating roster from 4pm to 8pm, you’ll assist with meals, hygiene, walks and exercises, and help with activities and care plans while prioritizing quality of life. Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Levin Village you will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, resident-directed care for people living with dementia. Our secure, specialist environment supports safety while promoting a fulfilling and enjoyable lifestyle, with each resident’s quality of life at the heart of everything we do. Our care is resident-directed - meaning we tailor care and support to each individual’s preferences, values, and needs.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

The shift pattern and hours for this role entails working on a 2 on 4 off roster 4pm - 8pm

• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
