Civmec is proud to be part of the alliance delivering the Perth Parks Project on the Burswood Peninsula — a major new cultural, sporting and community precinct for WA. In partnership with Aurecon and Seymour Whyte, we are constructing landmark facilities including:

  • A 12,000‑seat outdoor amphitheatre

  • A multi‑use events building

  • A multi‑use racetrack for cycling and motorsport events

As this iconic project progresses, we are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of this high‑profile development.

The Role

  • Implement and coordinate daily work activities as directed by the Supervisor 
  • Provide trade guidance and support to carpenters, operators and labourers 
  • Direct co‑workers in the absence of site supervision 
  • Interpret drawings, specifications and quality requirements 
  • Mark out, erect and dismantle formwork systems 
  • Perform second fixing and assist with steel fixing as required 
  • Complete concrete placement tasks 
  • Carry out planning tasks and general duties to support project delivery 
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and teamwork

About You

  • Previous Civil Construction experience within mining & resources or Infrastructure sector.
  • Solid history of formwork demonstrated Including concreting and steel fixing knowledge.
  • Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP & Forklift (desirable)
  • Working Safely at Heights (desirable)
  • Construction Safety Awareness Card
