Job Description

About the role

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Retail Merchandiser to lead in-store execution across a defined territory, representing key client brands. You’ll build trusted relationships with independent grocery retailers, challenge conventional approaches, and drive sales growth that benefits both our clients and their retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, transparent relationships with store owners and managers.
  • Execute store-level sales strategies that disrupt the status quo and deliver tangible results.
  • Educate retailers using compelling category insights and product knowledge.
  • Negotiate with influence to achieve volume and distribution targets within budget.
  • Interpret and apply data to influence in-store decisions and drive performance.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless execution of MSO plans.
  • Plan and manage your territory effectively to maximise efficiency and impact.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous retail/FMCG experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Proven ability to build trust-based commercial relationships.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
  • Comfortable working independently and on the move.
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn essential!
