Casual Programme Assistant in West Auckland is a flexible, afternoons-focused role (2.30pm to 6.00pm) with the possibility of school holiday hours; it’s a reliever position, so you’ll be rostered as needed. You’ll supervise Tamariki in fun, safe activities, keep spaces tidy, help Programme Managers run energetic sessions, and flag any behavioural, wellbeing or safety issues. The role requires right to work in NZ, reliable transport to West Auckland, enthusiasm with kids, and readiness for safeguarding checks. Perks include a 50% discount on sKids programmes, a referral bonus up to $250, work-life balance with no weekends, and supportive teammates. To apply, tailor your notes to show reliable, kid-centric experience and availability from 2.30pm.
At sKids, we believe childhood should be full of laughter, learning, and adventure! Since 1996, we’ve been creating awesome out-of-school experiences for Tamariki across New Zealand. Today, we welcome more than 3,800 kids every day at over 170 school sites – and we’re still growing!
When you work with us, you get to unleash your inner child. Think: messy art, science experiments, sports showdowns, cooking classes, and plenty of silly games. No two days are the same – and that’s how we like it!
As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.
This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.
