We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional with a strong background in paramedicine, first aid education, and programme development to join our growing team in New Zealand. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about high-quality emergency care education and wants to help shape practical, learner-focused first aid training programmes that make a real difference. In this role you will work closely with our National Quality Training Manager.

About the Role

You will play a key role in designing, reviewing, and delivering first aid and emergency response training programmes, including practical stretcher and patient handling training relevant to the New Zealand environment.

Working alongside operational teams, you will ensure training content is evidence-based, engaging, compliant, and aligned with industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop first aid and emergency response training programmes

Create practical training content including stretcher use, patient movement, and scene management

Review and update training materials to align with current NZ guidelines and industry standards

Deliver training sessions and practical assessments where required

You will ideally have:

US6400, 6401,6402

US4098

US29321 or US25411 & US25412

Paramedic qualification and operational experience

Strong knowledge of first aid education and emergency response training

Experience writing or developing training programmes and assessment material

Understanding of stretcher operations, patient handling, and practical rescue techniques
