Job Description

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assist cardiologists during catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker insertion, electrophysiology studies, and related procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to infection control standards
• Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic data, and respond promptly to emergencies
• Administer medications, sedatives, and IV infusions as per established protocols
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and provide post-procedure care, patient education, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Operate Cath Lab equipment and ensure equipment readiness and functionality
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency cardiac procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized university
• Valid UAE Nursing License or Eligibility (DOH / DHA / MOH)
• Completion of clinical training in cardiac care or critical care nursing (preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Cath Lab, Cardiology Unit, or Critical Care Unit
• Proven experience supporting cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, or electrophysiology procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control standards
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and emergency response in cardiac settings
• Ability to work in high-acuity environments with rapid clinical decision-making
• Proficiency in operating Cath Lab equipment and monitoring systems
• Strong patient assessment, clinical documentation, and post-procedure care skills
• Effective coordination within multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties for emergency cardiac procedures
