Responsibilities
1. Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of EV charging station projects in Europe, from initiation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning to handover and O&M, ensuring timely, quality, and budget-compliant delivery. 2. Progress, Quality & Safety Control: Develop and execute detailed schedules, track key milestones, manage quality checkpoints, and enforce safe and compliant on-site construction practices per international engineering standards and local regulations. 3. Technical Solutions & Support: Lead technical solution review and optimization, provide on-site guidance, and resolve complex challenges related to local processes, policies, regulations, and site conditions. 4. Team & Resource Coordination: Organize and manage on-site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers; allocate manpower and equipment efficiently; collaborate closely with domestic and international teams to ensure compliance, budget alignment, and company interests. 5. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain close liaison with overseas clients, local authorities, supervision units, and property owners; address on-site issues to ensure smooth project acceptance and customer satisfaction. 6. Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify potential risks, develop and implement contingency plans, monitor continuously, and make swift decisions under emergencies to safeguard project safety and progress. 7. Documentation & Deliverables: Prepare and archive progress reports, quality inspection records, as-built documents, settlement files, etc., ensuring completeness and traceability.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Energy & Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. 2. 5+ years of project management or on-site construction experience, including at least 3 years in EV charging (or new energy power) projects. Successfully led 3+ complete charging station projects preferred. 3. Familiar with local European construction codes and regulations, as well as the full installation, commissioning, and acceptance process for EV chargers. Knowledge of IEC 61851 and other international charging standards. 4. Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint) and design software (CAD, BIM). 5. Competent in budgeting, cost control, risk assessment, contract management, and supplier management. 6. Fluent in English (both spoken and written) for business and technical communication. Proficiency in a second European language (e.g., German, French, Norwegian) is a plus. 7. Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills, capable of effectively engaging with local governments, property owners, supervisors, and subcontractors on site. 8. High sense of responsibility and resilience under pressure; willing to travel frequently. 9. Candidates with overseas government or industry partnership resources that facilitate fast-track project approvals and support are preferred.
