Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie specializing in Indian cuisine to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of India dishes, ensuring authenticity and quality
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen, overseeing junior staff and daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in menu planning and development of new Indian dishes
  • Collaborate with other chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your station
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cuisine techniques
  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation.
