Broward County Public Schools is seeking a Child Care Monitor I for a full-time on-site role in Coral Springs to run planned activities that keep the Before and After School Care program safe and enriching. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and experience supervising school-age children in groups, plus a plan to complete required trainings within the first year either BASCC Components I and II or the Florida My Florida modules SNP 10 hours, UDAP 5 hours and SAP 5 hours. Must complete at least 10 hours of BASCC training annually, have computer skills, and be 18 or older. This is a temporary nonunion nonexempt hourly position. To conduct the planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program so that it is a safe and enriching program for the participants.

Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects.
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
