CHT Royal Oak is seeking a capable Care Home Administrator for a nine-month fixed-term starting 24 August 2026. In this on-site role you’ll be the heartbeat of the home, managing a busy reception desk, greeting visitors, assisting residents and families with inquiries, producing financial reports, coordinating staff rosters, and handling mail and general admin to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll join a values-led not-for-profit organisation that reinvests in people and resident experience and offers ongoing training and wellbeing support. To stand out in your application, highlight solid admin and customer service experience, comfort with confidential information and financial tasks, and evidence of alignment with care and connection.


We’re on the lookout for a brilliant, organised and people-loving Care Home Administrator to step into an exciting fixed-term role while our amazing Administrator enjoys maternity leave.
Location: CHT Royal Oak is located right in the heart of Royal Oak. Our cosy 40-bed care home offers the perfect blend of suburban charm and city convenience — with fantastic transport links to get you here with ease!

This is a 9-month fixed-term opportunity, ideally starting on 24 August 2026, where you’ll be the heartbeat of our home, keeping everything running smoothly, supporting the wider team, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

What you will do…
• Responsible for managing a busy reception desk
• Welcoming visitors to our facility with a positive attitude
• Assisting residents and family members with inquiries
• Completing financial reports
• Supporting the team with administrative tasks
• Receiving, sorting and distributing mail
• Registering staff rosters
