You’ll join a team delivering challenging design work across structural design and analysis, water flow and highways design, including flood risk assessments, hydrological studies, road alignment and earthworks analysis, under the guidance of experienced engineers. To be competitive, aim for a 2:1 or above, be in your second or third year of a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, and show a real passion for improving the built environment and sustainable design. The Role You'll Play

We are recruiting talented and creative engineering students to join our team for a Year in Industry.  It is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join the team to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the UK and worldwide.

 

Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers, this wide-ranging role will see you carrying out detailed structural engineering design and analysis, water flow and highways design including; flood risk assessments, hydrological assessments, road horizontal and vertical alignment and earthworks analysis. 

The Skills You'll Bring

Individuals who are interested in the Year in Industry opportunities that we have available will need to be:

  • On track to achieve a 2:1 or above
  • Working towards a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Preferably be in your second or third year of study
  • Have a passion for improving the built environment
  • Be interested in design and, in particular, sustainable design principles
