We’re looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our Hamilton team.
In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside our Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Manager to support daily laboratory operations and maintain IANZ requirements. The varied, practical work contributes to projects across Waikato.

• Sampling and testing civil construction materials, including aggregates, soils and asphalt.
• Completing site testing, including road and airport texture testing throughout New Zealand when required.
• Assisting with aggregate and asphalt mix design work.
• Recording, analysing and reporting test results accurately and on time.
• Consistently following IANZ requirements, test methods, work instructions and safe work practices.

• Experience in a civil engineering laboratory or a relevant science-based laboratory environment.
• Practical knowledge of aggregate, asphalt or site testing.

• A positive, team-focused attitude and a willingness to continue developing your technical capability.
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to clearly report results and work effectively with clients and colleagues.
