Education / Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Physiologist, Master’s Degree preferred
• Certification through ACSM. If not certified at hiring must be certified within 1 year of employment
• BLS required, completion of ACLS within 1 year
• Personal training exerperience preferred
• Successful completion of cardiac rhythm course within six months
• Meets requirements of physical pre-placement screening.
• Experience working in ambulatory care setting or physician office practice, supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient’s families, staff and management.
• Must be highly motivated, able to work outside the normal working hours as volume demands.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must possess the ability to collaborate with other health personnel.
• Must have strong organizational skills
