Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a safety-focused environment where quality, precision, and collaboration are at the core of everything we do.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Performing machining activities in line with engineering drawings and technical instructions
  • Operating and programming both manual and CNC turning and milling machines
  • Completing job cards, time sheets, and inspection documentation accurately
  • Maintaining detailed records in accordance with the Quality Management System
  • Ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures and safe work practices
  • Identifying and reporting machine faults, equipment issues, and infrastructure concerns
  • Training and mentoring apprentices and shop personnel
  • Assisting with fitting, maintenance, and general workshop duties as needed
  • Maintaining, organizing, and caring for gauges and precision measuring equipment
  • Collaborating with the operations team to support business growth and diversification initiatives
  • Participating in ongoing training and upskilling opportunities
  • Working flexible shifts to meet operational requirements

Safety & Compliance:

  • Upholding workplace health and safety standards at all times
  • Reporting hazards or conflicts between operational procedures and safety mandates
  • Complying with all company policies, including integrity and professional conduct
  • Taking responsibility for personal safety and that of your team

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Trade-qualified Machinist (current and verified certificate)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manual and CNC machining environments
  • Proven experience operating and programming metalworking machinery
  • Solid understanding of manual and CNC turning and milling operations
  • Relevant current licenses (e.g., forklift, loader, or similar equipment)
  • Valid licenses to operate company vehicles, plant, or equipment
  • Physical capability to perform workshop duties
