SGS Australia is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a permanent full‑time, on‑site role in Toowoomba, with remuneration in the $93k–$97k range. This hands‑on position requires strong machining capability, rigorous safety and quality standards, and the ability to mentor apprentices while supporting growth initiatives. You’ll machine to engineering drawings, complete accurate job documentation, train shop personnel, handle shift work, and report faults to OEMs. To stand out, highlight a current trade certificate, forklifts/large loader licenses, 5+ years’ experience with manual and CNC turning and milling, plus knowledge of steel grades, lean manufacturing and effective communication. Demonstrate client‑facing experience, record keeping, and alignment with SGS safety and QA processes in your application.
