SGS Australia is seeking a Casual Laboratory Technician for Mt Thorley to support coal sampling and testing. The on-site role requires flexibility to cover day to night shifts across weekdays and weekends, accurate physical testing, sample receipt and storage, and strict adherence to analytical methods, SGS quality systems and HSE standards, plus equipment upkeep and timely delivery. Ideal candidates have coal sampling/testing experience, tertiary lab qualifications, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines; a valid driver’s license, reliable transport, and willingness for manual handling.
