As a Colleagues Facilities Attendant - Ken Fix Technician, your role is essential in ensuring that colleagues residing in company-provided accommodation enjoy a safe, clean, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation and comfortable living environment. This position focuses on maintaining and carrying out preventive maintenance, attending to repair requests promptly, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-functioning living environment for all colleagues.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare accommodation units for new arrivals.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of accommodation facilities.
- Ensure that all accommodation areas meet established cleanliness and safety standards.
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance requests in colleague housing and facilities (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and general handyman tasks)
- Respond promptly to service calls and repair tickets raised by colleagues or HR.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks to minimize breakdowns and ensure longevity of equipment and furnishings.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop area in safe and good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate departments.
- Assist colleagues with inquiries and requests related to accommodation.
- Maintain accurate records of accommodation assignments and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Coordinate with the accommodation management team to ensure colleagues’ needs are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation units to identify and address issues.
- Assist in ensuring security and safety measures are in place and followed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a sense of community within accommodation facilities.
