Job Description
Position : Commercial Analyst
Location : South Normanton Office
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial team at BGIS BSM. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to provide data-driven insights and support commercial and financial decision-making processes as well as start their journey to become a qualified professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver data-informed reporting and analysis on sales performance, margins, and forecasting.
- Assist in running performance reports for the Operation Teams.
- Build and maintain customer reports, including tracking customer incentives to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Update standard costs and report on margin performance, highlighting the impact on the business.
- Reporting financial and commercial information to the Commercial and Senior team, including the preparation of reports.
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Reviewing current processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency
- Providing detailed commercial information to support strategic business decision-making
- Supporting the Invoicing time, including from time-to-time invoicing.
- Investigation and integration of maintenance, reactive and project works
- Responsible for driving the Invoicing of the business to achieve the Business Financial budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualified or part-qualified Accountant
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to harness data to understand key business drivers.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills to effectively convey data insights to others.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL and Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.
