Knight Electric, Inc is seeking skilled Commercial Electricians in the Greater Pineville area for a temporary full-time project expected to last about 3 months, onsite, with pay of $30.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience and state licensing. You’ll apply NEC knowledge, perform calculations, execute conduit bends, install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers and transformers, assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation, install light fixtures and devices, connect branch circuits, and read blueprints and schematics. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6,000+ hours of electrician experience, a current state Electrical Apprentice license, OSHA 10, and the ability to pass a background check. - Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
- Perform NEC calculations
- Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types
- Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers
- Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation
- Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
- Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- 6,000+ hours of electrician experience
- Current state Electrical Apprentice license (per state requirements)
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
