In this world, we offer a wide range of services, from warranty to complete upgrades of complex systems, from supplying small parts to fully managing complex repairs, from replacing a cylinder to providing ship management, system renewal, to ship upgrades.

Our teams operate from our service hubs located in multiple locations. The ultimate goal of the service is to get the floating objects and ships back in operation as quickly as possible. Purpose of the role:

As Commercial Manager Harbour & Voyage, you are responsible for securing and managing repair, maintenance, and service assignments for floating assets. Whether responding to ad-hoc breakdowns, urgent repair requests, or planned maintenance activities, you ensure customers receive a fast, reliable, and commercially sound solution either from you or from your team of Sales Managers.
 
You coordinate the commercial process from customer request to quotation, contract negotiation, and order intake. In close cooperation with operational teams and service partners, you translate customer requirements into clear work scopes and competitive offers. You actively build long-term customer relationships and ensure a high level of responsiveness, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
As part of the Management Team, you contribute to the strategic development of Harbour & Voyage, drive commercial performance and operational excellence.

Tasks and responsibilities:
 

  • Developing commercial strategies: Creating and implementing growth strategies to strengthen Harbour & Voyage's market position.
  • Market analysis: Conducting market analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Product development: Expanding the product and service offerings by developing new products or improving existing ones.
  • Customer relationships: Acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • Marketing campaigns: Overseeing the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Reporting: Reporting progress and results to the management.
  • Leadership: Leading and motivating the sales and marketing team.
  • Budget management: Preparing and managing sales and marketing budgets.
  • Contract negotiations: Conducting contract negotiations with new and existing customers.

Required skills and competencies:
 

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
  • Analytical skills: Excellent analytical skills to identify and leverage market trends.

Education and experience:
 

  • A Bachelor’s or master’s degree Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within the maritime or Heavy Offshore sector.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch, English and possibly Spanish.
