Our Electrification & Automation Customer Services business delivers critical maintenance, modernisation, digitalisation and lifecycle solutions across industrial and infrastructure sectors throughout ASEAN. As our service portfolio grows, we’re looking for a Commercial Project Manager to partner with our operational and project teams and drive commercial excellence and sustainable growth.

About the role

This is more than a role focused on financial reporting. You’ll be a trusted commercial partner, influencing decisions, identifying opportunities and helping project and service teams achieve strong business outcomes.

The role will support a diverse portfolio of projects, products, maintenance contracts and lifecycle service agreements, with a strong focus on:

  • Commercial governance and project performance
  • Business partnering with operational leadership
  • Contract and risk management
  • Digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strategic business planning and performance management
  • Leadership potential and stakeholder influence
  • Cross-functional collaboration aligned with Siemens’ ONE Tech principles

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Service Managers, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Tax and Customer Care, while also contributing to broader digitalisation, process improvement and business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with Project and Service Managers to achieve revenue, margin, cash flow and profitability targets
  • Lead commercial governance, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting
  • Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, variations, warranties and claims
  • Provide commercial insights and constructive challenge to support better decision-making
  • Drive improvements through SAP, Power BI, Excel and digital reporting solutions
  • Improve commercial processes, transparency and data-driven decision-making
  • Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across the business
  • Promote collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with strong commercial capability, curiosity and the confidence to make an impact.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in Commercial Project Management, Project Controlling, Finance Business Partnering or a similar role
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, cost control and profitability skills
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capability
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • A growth mindset, strong ownership and a collaborative approach

Experience in industrial services, infrastructure, engineering, construction, maintenance, automation or technical services would be highly regarded, as would Power BI, contract management and process improvement experience.
